Albertor's story is marked by loss, disability, and poverty. She lost her twin sister at birth and became deaf at age three. Her father abandoned the family many years ago. Albertor relies on her uneducated mother, who sells vegetables to support the family. They live in a one-room mud hut without electricity or access to clean water. Despite these hardships, Albertor is eager to learn, enjoys school, and dreams of becoming an engineer.
