Life has been hard for Mike's family since they lost his father last year. His mother sells potatoes, but she earns less than $1 per day. She could not afford to meet the rent on their home, so the family was evicted. Now they live on their church compound with no land and no real home at all. Mike is one of seven siblings. He is at genuine risk of being sent away from school due to lack of fees.
