After Marion's parents divorced, both of them abandoned their children. Local officials learned that Marion and her four siblings were on their own, sleeping hungry and missing out on their basic needs. Marion and her brother were taken to live at the Tarakwa Children's Village where they could stay in a safer environment. Marion loves education and hopes to become a doctor one day.
