Benter’s father passed away, leaving her mother to raise the children alone. Her mohter, sells produce and other items on the roadside, but her income is unstable. As a result, she struggles to provide enough food for Benter and her siblings. Benter now lives at the Sommer Girls Dormitory on the Ring Road School campus, where she receives proper nutrition and care. Education is Benter's best hope for a life of opportunity.
