Andy has had a difficult life. His parents are not involved in his life. He lives with his aunt and other extended family in a small adobe house without access to clean water. They never have enough food, and there is no money for Andy's school uniform or school supplies. Education is Andy’s only hope to break free from the vicious cycle of poverty he has always known.
