Aaron lost both of his parents during the war on Mt. Elgon. Now he lives under the care of his grandfather, who is unable to work any longer in his old age. The family cannot make ends meet, so the children frequently forage for food or go hungry. They live in a small, traditional house made of thatched grass and mud. There is one room, and everyone sleeps on the hard-packed floor. Sponsorship will make a big impact on Aaron's life.
